About me

I specialise in sports traumatology and arthroscopy of the large joints — knee, shoulder, hip and ankle.

I have worked in the field since 2008 and perform around 850 arthroscopic procedures a year. I care for elite and recreational athletes, sports clubs and patients with degenerative joint conditions — with the focus on a full return to performance.

A specialist in sports traumatology and arthroscopy of the large joints, working in the field since 2008. He performs around 850 arthroscopic procedures a year — reconstruction of the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle joints. Alongside surgery he also provides conservative treatment (viscosupplementation, platelet-rich plasma injections, biological therapy).

Notice

A new member of the trauma team: Dr Mykhailo Lyzhechko

We have begun working with Dr Lyzhechko — he specialises in the comprehensive diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries, minor surgical procedures (incision and excision — moles, lipomas, skin lesions), ACP and viscosupplementation injections, and referral for surgery (joint arthroscopy and reconstructive procedures, which are then performed by Dr Holeka).

Consulting hours: every Tuesday 13:00–16:30. Book on 466 766 333 (every morning) or on 605 525 228 (15:00–18:00, Wednesdays and Thursdays only).

Arthrex

AutoCart™

Single-stage arthroscopic repair of cartilage defects using the patient’s own tissue. No harvesting from a second joint, faster recovery and an earlier return to sport.

Knee joint

Meniscus transplantation

Replacement of a missing meniscus in active patients after an earlier injury. It restores the cushioning and stability of the knee and protects the cartilage from premature wear.

Shoulder joint

Rotator cuff reconstruction

Large or irreparable rotator cuff tears badly limit shoulder movement and hurt. An Achilles tendon graft replaces the missing tendon tissue, restores the biomechanics of the shoulder and brings back its stability and function — minimally invasively, keeping the patient’s own joint.

Maximum precision

Nanoscopy

The latest endoscopic method, using an ultra-thin 1.9 mm optical system. It allows both diagnosis and treatment of joint structures in high resolution, through a minimal entry point, without full anaesthesia and with faster healing.
